| Personal History | Lucas was born in Leicester, England. His mother, Elizabeth Gimson is a university history professor, and his father, Retired Vice-Admiral Richard Thorton, began his career in Starfleet as an engineer. Lucas' parents were never married, and he hardly knew his father growing up. His paternal grandmother was half Klingon. Having a strong love of music, at age 14, he persuaded his parents to send him to a vocational school in Coventry where he could develop his musical talents. (more to come) |
