The Sim

A partial reboot of SF Academy-Magellan Campus

The original SF Academy-Magellan Campus simulation ran from July 2012 to early August 2016. A decision was made the following month to do a partial reboot of the sim, bringing the beginnings of a colony in the background to the forefront. A starbase that had been in orbit of the planet became a Colonial-class Planetary Base on the surface. The Colony would expand around it, an ocean on one side, a mountain range on the other, the Campus on one side with some of the colony between it and Magellan Station. An orbital docking station was place in orbit of the planet, and with the colony on the equator, a stationary space elevator runs from the orbital station on down to Magellan Station on the ground.

This simulation was considered a partial reboot as some posts and characters were brought over from the old sim to the new, while others were not. Meanwhile new characters and story lines were created and inserted within the timeline where they would fit in. Other players joined and more was written to fit within as well.

The above was finished by July 2019, moving us forward into a new Episode.
